Day 3

We didn't have service in Yellowstone, so I'm just posting yesterday's adventures and pictures today while we're driving through Wyoming.  It was a long, boring drive from Idaho to Yellowstone.  Not much to see until we got to Yellowstone.  It's so beautiful here!  Lots of trees, wild animals, and geysers.  We took our time driving through, stopping at all of the geysers to walk the trails and take pictures.  And yes, we took almost 300 pictures!  There are lots of bison in the park, some of them walking slowly across the road.  Very cool!  We stayed at the Old Faithful Snow Inn, which is a really beautiful hotel very close to Old Faithful.  So we got to see Old Faithful going off three different times, as well as walk the trail around Old Faithful.  Next drive:  A very long one through Wyoming to Devils Tower.

Gas Price:  $3.98 town closest to Yellowstone Park

After a long drive, we finally arrive at Yellowstone.

This elk was just walking slowly across the road.

Lots of bison in Yellowstone.
Baby bison and her mama.

Beautiful geysers.

I loved the colors around the geysers.

I thought this geyser looked like a skull.

Beautiful colors of the geysers.
