Day 7

It's been one week since we started our road trip, and today was by far the longest day.  We've been on the road for 12 1/2 hours and we are still about an hour away from our hotel in Ohio.  We've been in four states today:  Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio!  We stopped in the little town of Le Claire, IA, to go to Antique Archeology, which is the shop shown on the History Channel show American Pickers (one of John's favorites!).  We also walked to the Mississippi River to take a picture there.  Other than that, we've only been driving, and stopping every few hours for a little break.  Tomorrow . . . family day in Pennsylvania!!!  I can't wait to see everyone!

I thought this was so funny in these northern states.

The Von Dutch Motorcycle.

State #2 for the day.

Entering State #3 for the day.

Beautiful farms in this area.

I missed the sign for Ohio, so this is the next best thing.
